What you'll contribute to
The Product Planning & Development (PPD) Division is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all product activities in order to ensure new products are optimised to meet the future needs of customers. The Pricing Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the development of pricing proposals for Toyota and Lexus vehicles in order to optimise vehicle competitiveness and profitability throughout the model lifecycle.
This role is based in Altona North and is on a Max term basis.
How you'll make an impact
- Contribute to the development of pricing proposals based on available market and competitor analysis in order to optimise vehicle competitiveness and profitability throughout the model lifecycle.
- Assist with the development of Toyota and Lexus pricing strategies through evaluation and monitoring of Toyota and Lexus product & price position versus competitors.
- Regular reports to stakeholders on the status of pricing proposals, identifying progress and issues. Recommend activities to resolve issues.
- Maintain pricing information in business and reporting systems to provide the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities
- Monitor own tasks with respect to compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements in order to minimise Toyota's risk exposure and liabilities.

- Degree in business or related discipline
- 2+ years' accumulative experience.
- Experience in the automotive industry is desirable.
- Experience with SAP desirable.
- Strong understanding of business and its commercial drivers
- Strong stakeholder management and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with all.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
